Who we are

Bluewater Pipe is a partnership between Tony and Bonnie Kime and Prinsco Inc. a leading drainage pipe manufacturer operating in the U.S. Midwest, California and Manitoba. Bluewater Pipe operates as an independent Ontario Corporation.

Bluewater Pipe employs up to 30 people and operates a corrugated polyethylene pipe manufacturing plant in Huron Park Ontario. The company also operates a machine building business co-located in the Huron Park facility. This division of the business has been operating since 2003 under the brand name of Adescor, building sophisticated downstream and associated equipment used in corrugated polyethylene pipe plants. The two divisions are able to capitalize on resource sharing in terms of both personnel and extrusion technology, using the skills and experience of a strong core of employees.

Bluewater Pipe benefits from having a highly skilled machinery development group on site, allowing the company to stay at the leading edge of technological advancement in the industry.

Tony Kime, with decades of experience in the corrugated plastic pipe industry, is the President of Bluewater Pipe and is active in all areas of the operation.

Why are we different?

As with any successful long term business, it is the people who make the difference. The ownership group of Bluewater Pipe believe in business principles based on strong family values, attention to the needs of customers, employees and other stakeholders in the business. With a team of people who have been working together for a long time, Bluewater Pipe has a wealth of skilled and dedicated people to call on.

Product quality, long term product performance, continuous improvement of the business process, and training of the team are ongoing in the business – all important daily actions. For a company with fewer than 30 employees the Bluewater Pipe team punches above its weight in business systems and organization.

An important daily focus of the company are the Health and Safety initiatives; every day that passes without safety incidents adds to the more than 15 years of safe operations. It is a great achievement and a challenge to maintain in a complicated industrial manufacturing facility. The focus and commitment by management and employees allows this record to continue.

The company is active in community fundraising, each year finding a cause to focus on and support. The 2017/18 initiative has been the Drainpink campaign to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.

The Adescor manufacturing equipment / machine building division of the company supports the pipe manufacturing group with skills and a process development capability that allows the group to be an innovator in the drainage pipe industry.

Bluewater Pipe is a small company with big company capability, a unique team in the Southwestern Ontario drainage pipe manufacturing sector.
